Jesse James, Sandra Bullock, The Stands, Therapy?, Gaspar Noé, King Sunny Adé Photo - Sandra Bullock's ex-husband Jesse James attends a custody hearing in an ongoing battle with ex-wife Janine Lindemulder for custody of his eight-year-old daughter Sunny. It's reported that a judge in the hearing recommended that Sunny not be handed over to Lindemulder, an ex-porn star. She surrendered custody of their daughter to James when she spent six months in a federal prison on tax evasion charges, but has been fighting for custody since her release in July 2009. According to the reports, court-appointed attorney, Loni Klein, told the court, "Jesse James is doing a good job being a father to Sunny. Although both parents love Sunny, they do not trust one another. Janine has faced a tough road and has been getting therapy recently but still requires more treatment." Reports go on to say that during the hearing, James took the stand and claimed that, during a phone conversation, Lindemulder told him she was on strong anti-depressants, and Lindemulder's attorney Richard Masson said that James did not take her calls or comply with court-ordered visits, only allowing her eight visitation days instead of the legally granted 15. James' lawyer John Schilling also accused Lindemulder of recently losing Sunny in a water park for over one hour and raised fears about her past as a porn star, felon and drug addict. The Oscar-winning Bullock is reportedly very fond of James' three children and was often photographed hand-in-hand with Sunny, the youngest, and James has reportedly made plans to move to Austin, TX where she now lives so that his children can continue their relationship with Bullock. James' first wife Karla also plans to move to Texas with their oldest sons, Chandler, 15, and Jesse Jr., 12. Los Angeles, CA. 7/12/10.
