He co-hosted morning chat show 'Regis and Kelly' and came out to sign autographs for fans. During a radio interview that took place on the street he began frantically scratching his nose with the middle finger of his right hand at the mention of one of his 'Idol' co-hosts Paula Abdul, to the amusement of all present. 'American Idol', produced by Fox, is currently drawing huge TV viewing figures. Recently it beat both the Gammys and the 2006 Winter Olympics for viewers by very large margins.
