David Beckham, Edge, Ranger$, The Cars, Victoria Beckham Photo - It's reported that Victoria Beckham will be designing her own Range Rover. According to the reports, Posh will be designing a special edition for the new Range Rover Evoque and played a major role in the launch of the car, serving as a consultant for the company, known best for its big luxury off-road vehicles. The Evoque is targeted at style-conscious city dwellers, with whom Victoria is very familiar. Range Rover director Phil Popham said, "There's two things she's doing. We will work on editions that will have a Victoria Beckham edge to it. But just as importantly, she's giving her view and experience sharing that with our designers generally in terms of not just the look, but the materials, the fabrics, what we think is premium versus what she thinks is premium as a consumer of luxury goods. She's also a Ranger Rover owner as well. Her and David Beckham have owned a number of Range Rovers and they have personally commissioned the interiors of their cars as well. So they like the brand, they're into the brand already. They like the cars. They live the premium life, they've got a good eye for premium products and we're picking her brain in that respect." Reports go on to say that, while no details were given about the launch date, Popham guaranteed Victoria's special edition will not be called the Posh Edition. Miami, FL. 18th August 2011.
