The incident was all in fun, and began when the normally friendly and relaxed couple stopped to chat with photographers after leaving celebrity haunt Da Silvano on Tuesday evening. When the conversation turned to Diaz and boyfriend Justin Timberlakes recent camera-grabbing scuffle, it was suggested that Thalia act out Diazs role. The singer obliged, attacking first one of the photographers while the other snapped away, and then happily grabbing the other by the throat for the benefit of his colleagues lens. Both seized cameras were returned unharmed.
