The suit of armour and the dragon weigh approximately 300lbs! He is also attempting to get into the Guinness Book of World Records by being the first to raise 1million as an INDIVIDUAL fundraiser. After surviving leukaemia he has raised more than 4 million for cancer charities, such as Children with Leukemia, through what he calls 'extreme charity fundraising events', including the following: the Flora London Marathon wearing a 110 lb. deep-sea diving costume, in 2002; setting a world record for the slowest marathon time, again wearing a deep-sea diving suit, at the Edinburgh Marathon with a time of six days, four hours, 30 minutes and 56 seconds; the first underwater marathon, walking a 26 mile stretch of the bottom of Loch Ness, Scotland, in 2003; the Lands End to John O'Groats swim, in 2004, where he 'swam' from John O'Groats to Lands End in a water tank on the back of a lorry; Everest Marathon, in 2004; 135 mile Death Valley Ultra marathon, in 2004; Marathon des Sables, in 2004; Walked to the North Pole, in 2004; and Walked to the South Pole, in 2004.
