It's reported that earlier today, during an interview with Matt Lauer on NBC's "Today" show, Hudson announced that she is engaged to boyfriend and Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy. During the interview, Lauer admired the huge diamond engagement ring Kate wore, asking "Is this new?" Kate responded "This is new!" Hudson said that the engagement happened about a week ago, but "hadn't really announced it." She added, "He's a beautiful man and I'm very excited," calling the proposal "very sweet and very romantic." Kate, who is reportedly due in mid July, has been dating Bellamy since they met at the Coachella festival in April 2010. She currently has a son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson.
