View All Images- A13009 Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS INVINCIBLE sailed up the Clyde estuary this morning on her way to Glen Mallen to take on stores, following her completion of her recent refit in Rosyth. The ship has sailed from Liverpool where she formed the backdrop and centrepiece to the recent Battle of Atlantic 60th anniversary commemorations in the city. Over two thousand guests toured the ship over the bank holiday period, including many Battle of Atlantic veterans, and more than 150,000 people watched the naval displays in Albert Dock.
