Getting ready for the Emmys
by leslie on September 17, 2011
Television’s biggest night of the year happens Sunday night with the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards held at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre.
Jane Lynch is both hosting and up for an award at Sunday's Emmy Awards.
Funny lady,
Jane Lynch is hosting and there are murmurings that the cast of “Glee” will join her on stage for one of the musical numbers. As a side note to the festivities, Fox has announced that the Emmys are going green with solar panels, recycled red carpet (?really? please don’t tell me red carpets aren’t used more than once) and efficient lighting. They didn’t mention what the solar panels will be powering. Anyway, its a nice gesture and other than the annual
Environmental Media Awards, no other award shows have focused on sustainability.
